We adapt to how much involvement you want — but these are the four moments where your input shapes the outcome.
1. Discovery
We start by sitting down with you to understand the learning objectives, the target audience, and how you currently teach the subject. We ask the uncomfortable questions: what does success actually look like in your classroom? What would a student need to do — not just know — to prove they have learned something?
2. Co-design
Together we translate your learning goals into game mechanics. You don't need to know game design — that's our job. But you do know your subject and your students, and that's what drives every design decision. We run short feedback loops so you can react to concepts before they become code.
3. Build & Test
Mindcastle builds the game inside Minecraft, and we test it with real classes before release. You are invited to playtests and can flag anything that feels off — didactically or practically. We iterate until the game works the way a lesson should.
4. Release & Measure
Once live on Minecraft Education or the Marketplace, teachers can deploy the game to a class in minutes. After play, we provide learning reports so you can see which students achieved which objectives — closing the loop between fun and proof.
Whether you have a fully formed curriculum unit or just a vague idea, we'd love to explore what a collaboration could look like.
